Open all year as well as being close to Croyde village, Combas Farm camping fields are the nearest permanent camping facility to Putsborough sands, the quiet end to Woolacombe Bay. Camping at Combas Farm has been running since 1955. Previously with no advertising and only word of mouth recommendations, our campers come back year after year, some even going back three generations which says a lot about this very special place. This is the perfect escape. Watch the stars at night and fall asleep trying to catch the sound of Putsborough’s crashing waves.

The Area
Our position is unique being close to Croyde village, vast sandy beaches and coastal paths. A few minutes’ walk down a farm track brings you to the centre of Croyde village (it can be muddy – bring your wellies). Walk to the top of our hill for stunning views of both bays and Lundy Island. On a clear night, one can indulge in a little stargazing; a rare treat.

PERFECT CAMPSITE
The campsite's location is ideal - a short walk from Croyde on one side and Putsborough beach a 10 minute walk in the other direction. Sally and her whole family are so friendly and helpful. We're all booked in again for next year!

STUNNING, WE WILL BE RETURNING
Recently stayed for a long weekend with a group of friends and I can't recommend this place enough. A short walk to the facilities which due to Covid were operating under a token system, even at peak times there were only short queues.

GREAT CAMPSITE
Really great campsite - went with a group of friends and Sally could not have been more accommodating! Beautiful views from the top of the hill - we really enjoyed sitting there and watching the sunset. We will definitely go back!

We do not have electrical hook-ups in the fields.
