Open all year and close to Croyde village, Combas Farm Camping offers a peaceful escape in a stunning location. Our fields are the nearest permanent camping facility to Putsborough Sands, the quieter end of Woolacombe Bay.
The farm has hosted campers since 1955, with no need for advertising—word-of-mouth recommendations have brought back generations of campers, year after year, drawn to the friendly atmosphere and natural beauty of this special place.
We’re dog-friendly and perfect for families, groups, or anyone looking to unwind. Watch the stars at night and fall asleep to the distant sound of waves crashing at Putsborough.

The Area
Our position is unique being close to Croyde village, vast sandy beaches and coastal paths. A few minutes’ walk down a farm track brings you to the centre of Croyde village (it can be muddy – bring your wellies). Walk to the top of our hill for stunning views of both bays and Lundy Island. On a clear night, one can indulge in a little stargazing; a rare treat.

PERFECT CAMPSITE
The campsite's location is ideal - a short walk from Croyde on one side and Putsborough beach a 10 minute walk in the other direction. Sally and her whole family are so friendly and helpful. We're all booked in again for next year!
STUNNING, WE WILL BE RETURNING
Recently stayed for a long weekend with a group of friends and I can't recommend this place enough. A short walk to the facilities which due to Covid were operating under a token system, even at peak times there were only short queues.
GREAT CAMPSITE
Really great campsite - went with a group of friends and Sally could not have been more accommodating! Beautiful views from the top of the hill - we really enjoyed sitting there and watching the sunset. We will definitely go back!

No credit/debit card payment facilities on-site. Payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer please.
We do not have electrical hook-ups in the fields.
Please keep noise levels to a minimum, especially after 11pm.

The Granary
Entire one double bed open plan apartment with separate bathroom. Campsite facilities you are welcome to use including microwave, fridges and freezers.
“We’ve just returned from a lovely weekend. The accommodation was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had all the space we needed. Added bonus was the garden area. Being able to have breakfast outside watching the cows in the field, and listening to the lambs. It was just lovely.”
